Snagging Survey
A Snagging Survey is ideal to identify issues with your new-build home on completion of building works.
What is a Snagging Survey?
If you’re about to buy a new build property, we always recommend instructing a Snagging Survey, after all building works have been completed and before exchanging contracts.
A Snagging Survey highlights issues within a property which aren’t always obviously visible. These could include cosmetic issues such as blemishes to finished paintwork or functional issues such as windows not shutting properly.
What does a Snagging Survey include?
Detailed Inspection
We inspect the internal and external parts of the property, looking at elements such as ceilings, walls, floors, windows and doors for imperfections. Externally, we inspect the building's facade, roof, rainwater goods and more. We also consider the grounds of a property.
Clear Reporting
Our reports include clear photos and descriptions of our findings so that you can pass these on to the developer.
Further Investigations
Where there is a need for further investigations, we will also comment on these within our report.
Reinspections
If required, we can also revisit your property once the snagging items have been addressed to verify that they have been completed.
We cannot recommend Enrico enough. He completed a very detailed, thorough and helpful level 3 survey. Excellent communication throughout the process.
